I am Adam Slater, a freelance videographer and photographer based in West Lothian.

For the last three years, I have been in education for the creative industries, and I am currently working towards my HND in Film and Television Production at Edinburgh College. I have worked on a range of projects such as audio dramas, short films, and documentaries. During my time in education, I have developed key skills in editing software, technical understanding, and professional conduct.

My main specialties are directing and cinematography. During the last year I have directed many projects, most notable directing a documentary. This was especially rewarding as directing a crew in a stressful environment was a challenge I had to overcome.

In my spare time I practice nature photography. Not only has this expanded my knowledge of cameras but also my knowledge of editing software. This is where I explore my interest in cinematography as it allows me to experiment with composition and camera settings.

I have something to say, a point to make, and this industry allows me to express myself and show my creativity.
